Review: Tethered is probably as close to Black and White we are ever going to get in VR. This RTS game (God Game) sees you in the role of being a benevolent being watching over the sky islands. Pretty soon eggs start dropping from out of the sky and from these eggs little workers will hatch. It is your job to fulfil these little workers lives by making them do various tasks like mine rocks or minerals, chop down wood or maybe they will work on a farm. Once you have enough resources you can start to construct buildings like a tavern, a church or maybe even an army barracks to ward off other sky islands that might attack. Of course, there are many other jobs for your little workers to do and many other types of buildings at your disposal. Think “A World of Keflings” and you will be in the ballpark of what this game is like.

It doesn’t matter how much I love this game that £18.99 asking price is a big pill to swallow for such a short game, but if you can grab it for half-price or less I would definitely snap it up. This is a game that was born to be played in VR and fair play it looks and plays like a premium-priced gaming title but it just doesn’t have enough longevity for me.
