Description: The Last Clockwinder is a VR puzzle-automation game. Create intricate clockwork contraptions out of your own clones and restore life to an ancient tree. You are on a mission to repair an ancient clocktower built into the trunk of a colossal tree. Inside, you find a pair of gloves that allow you to turn anything you do into a looping clockwork automaton.

Review: While people say ‘The Last Clockwinder’ is an original and unique game, it is not that at all. In fact, I can name at least 5 games this same “cloning” mechanic has been done. But that doesn’t take anything away from the game itself because this is a beautiful and well-designed game that will take you a good 4hrs plus to finish. In short, you have to “record” some of your movements and keep a workflow going over multiple clones of yourself and it works simply with a lot of strategy involved especially in the later levels.

what I like most about this game is that you will play it your way, in your style. No two people will play this game the same. I found myself lost within its worlds, trying to save time by cutting down the number of clones I needed. Its a game that you need to slow down and think about rather than rush into. But nothing is too hard that you can’t solve with time. Sure, it takes a little while to get the base mechanics of the game, but once you do you will lose yourself and at times I found myself just watching all my little clones hard at work and not wanting to progress the story anymore. This one gets an easy recommendation from me, I just wish there was more of it.
