Description: The Marvellous Machine is not a roller coaster ride, it’s a fifteen-minute narrated journey in VR that lets you explore the inner workings of your mind and experience new perspectives.

Get yourself into a playful mood, and just go and have fun exploring! Lay aside any preconceived ideas of what you can experience and what you’re capable of. In the realm of the mind you are only limited by what you think is possible. But please be true to yourself – if you are not truly willing to let go of yourself for a while and follow the narrator’s directions closely, this experience will not be for you.

Review: While ‘The Marvellous Machine’ only lasts for about a quarter of an hour there is something to be enjoyed here. From the smooth visuals of the slow-moving cart ride filled with wonderful steampunk style things to look at and see to the thought-provoking narration that really makes you stop and think for a short while, this is a small VR experience that will make most people smile and others will simply hate it. You don’t do anything here just sit back and enjoy the immersive experience. Yes, I wish there was a lot more to this, but for a freebie, it is still well worth a look.
