Review: While as basic as they come graphically I still enjoyed playing The Torus Syndicate. It tries to sell itself as a ‘time-crisis clone’ but let me tell you this, it is nowhere near as good as that and the graphics are more Minecraft than Time-Crisis. But it is still fun to play. The dashing around is slightly better than teleportation and the action is fun, although it never reaches levels above “Fun”. This games biggest problem is its asking price. At £10.99 this is nowhere near giving you value for money, but grab it in a sale for just £1 and you might have a laugh with it. At the end of the day, it has been abandoned, so all the content you get is all there will ever be and there really isn’t a lot hench the suggestion to get this at a much lower price.
