Review: ‘Tracery of Fate’ is a magic fighting dungeon crawler in which you and a friend take on the evils of this world from skeletons to evil spiders. The good news is this game looks great from start to finish with a real D&D look and feel to the game. Sure, some of the animations in the game need improving, but the looks of the enemies are on point. Combat is a little slow most of the time, but it also feels pretty satisfying when you get a good weapon or spell. I especially enjoyed throwing weapons as you can take them out long-range quite easily. But there are indeed times when the action gets they soon get on top of you making the game quite stressful.

Sadly there is almost no-one currently playing this game online, so unless you have friends that play it don’t expect anyone to play with you in the lobby. So it’s mostly down to the single-player mode and to be fair it does have a lot to offer with a good few hours of gameplay. Sadly a lot of those hours will be wondering what to do next as the flow of the game is pretty terrible. But give it time and you will get there. At the moment I give this game a cautious thumbs up as the lack of online players is an issue and the AI isn’t exactly exciting. But yet I still managed to enjoy the game and it does look pretty great.
