Description: It has been over 800 years since we left the planet earth behind. Isolated, and lost, we’ve clustered around our space stations like insects. In 2842, it finally happened. Aliens attacked, and we were forced to defend ourselves. In this space shooter, you play as Andy, a reluctant asteroid miner that must defend humanity against the alien invasion! Relying on advice from your sidekick, and orders from your commander, it is up to you to tackle the aliens head-on!

Review: Some retro games work in VR and others fail miserably. Sadly ‘VectorWars VR’ falls into the fail category for sure. The first main problem with this game is that there is zero need for it to be in VR, nor does it benefit from being so! Then there is the basic gameplay attached to the wireframe graphics that look like they have come straight from NES days. Sorry, but it just doesn’t work and feels too retro, but not in a good way. You might get enough content to justify the £2.09 asking price, but the quality is nowhere near that price point. This game needs some serious updating if I am ever to recommend it, so, for now, it is best to stay away.
