Review: So is Viral Quarantine as good as the original? The original was a load of fun that is for sure, but Viral Quarantine manages to top it in almost every way. It’s more fun, better animations, better weapons and the levels look amazing. But it’s not perfect. In fact, it’s also a lot harder than the original game and I found myself running out of ammo on almost every level, even the first one! But that is part of the game’s difficulty, I just wish maybe the ammo bar very slowly replenished rather than having to just quit the game to move on. So do I prefer the original Viral or this one? It’s a close call indeed, but I think…somehow…Fierce Kaiju have managed to make it even better than the original, but it’s a close call on which is the better game. Highly recommend, it’s a VR action game done the right way.
