My Thoughts: Using VR for recovery in mental health is not a new thing at all, in fact, it has been going on for years! What has changed is the legitimacy of those said results and the high level of positiveness surrounding them. For certain phobias and conditions, it is perfect, but VR should always be seen as a side therapy to real face to face therapy sessions, rather than an alternative, or “cheaper” option.
