Review: ‘VR New York Story’ is an adventure game and language learner all in one with the idea being Chinese people can learn American style English in a natural, fun way. I should point out straight away that unless you can read Chinese this app is not for you as almost all the text is in that language. While the graphics are a little basic as with the interactions I can see this being a useful app for someone coming to New York from China, but having been to New-York myself I can promise you most of the locals are nowhere near as friendly as they are in this app making the topic of conversation started kind of pointless. But I did like the style of learning, so thumbs up for that. But at a mind-blowing £46.49 you would have to be a fool, or desperate to get it and at that price, there is simply no way I can recommend it.
