Description: Try the classic spaceship arcade game in a 21st century VR headset. This game brings the feel of childhood back, in a VR Spaceship Battle. Float through space and destroy the enemy ships before they shoot you. The gameplay is seated and the ship is controlled with your VR controllers. The left controller can shoot guns, while the right controller may fire missile weapons. Just hold, relax and shoot alien spaceships. You can save the Galaxy, and be a hero of the Solar System.
Review: I want to start off by telling you that I gave ‘VR Spaceship Battle’ my best go. I tried to get into it, I tried really hard to enjoy it, but I was ultimately left with the opinion that ‘VR Spaceship Battle’ is utter sh1t. For a start, the menu didn’t work well with the Oculus Controler and it took me a good while just to work out how to select start! And then the gameplay appears to be broken. You can’t go to the next objective because when you get there nothing happens, the action is crap, there are no instructions whatsoever and the graphics are as simple as games come. I get that it only costs £2.09 (and I got this in a sale for just £1.42) but if you can’t really play the game it doesn’t matter what it costs! There is no way I can recommend this even if it was free, a broken game is still a broken game no matter what it costs.
