Review: ‘VZfit’ is a fitness app for a device that lucky fits most exercise bikes, even the cheapest of ones, so no Peloton club prices here. The main Magene S3 sensor is just £20 so with the price of a monthly membership being £9.99 its not too expensive at all. You do get a free trial to give it a go first. As for the app I have to say it is not original at all. In fact, I remember playing something very similar on the Gear VR. It used a Bluetooth device to attach to the bike and then used Google Street view as the visuals. Sadly that is half the problem because those street view images only look good from a static viewpoint. While zipping through them you soon suffer from nausea and start to see just how…basic this app is. If you stick to it you will, of course, find your money’s worth here, but for me, it’s just not good enough to be worth the monthly subscription fee.
