Review: Wally’s Skatepark is a racing game based around the Fingerboard. These small, replica skateboards have been around for as long as I can remember and have not made it into VR! There are two modes of play here. One sees you going up against the world in pre-made courses and trying to get the best time and the other sees you building the course. While racing is the core of the game your little skateboard can do all sorts of crazy tricks and all controlled with the Oculus Touch controllers.

Of course, the building side of things is what will take up most your time but sadly there doesn’t seem to be a way of saving them or putting them online for people to have a go. But it was fun making them nevertheless.

Wally’s Skatepark is never going to blow anyone away with its graphics and even the gameplay can get a little repetitive quite quickly. But for a quick blast of fun Wally’s Skatepark is perfect. You can go up against the worldwide time challenges or even make your own course and maybe challenge some friends. Just don’t expect anything groundbreaking for the price you are paying and you won’t be disappointed.
