Review: You might have thought you can’t really go wrong with a VR Warhammer game, but it has to be said ‘Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Tempestfall’ isn’t perfect by any means. Don’t get me wrong, this is a beautiful game and to be fair to the developers it looks just as good as the Steam VR version! And those who know it well will instantly feel part of the Warhammer universe. It’s also a deep game with an upgrade system that keeps you griding away and to be fair to the game there is a lot to grind away on.

Sadly when it comes to the gameplay things are not so great. With a janky, forced feel to it simple things like switching weapons and swinging at enemies feels awful. You get even defeated most enemies with a simple wiggle of the sword, there is no skill involved at all. The good news is over time you do learn to get used to this and the game is deep enough to lose yourself in. While I do recommend this and loved playing it I just feel it could have done with a little more polish given the pedigree I expect with the Warhammer brand.
