Review: It will come as no surprise to learn you play as a girl called Wendy! A young woman who always imagined herself as a witch. Cuddled up with her pet cat, she was sat alone one Halloween night, drinking wine and eating candy and slowly falling asleep. She then wakes up inside a magical tower, and on top of that you seem to have developed the power of telekinesis! You can move objects by simply looking at them, so being tasked with brewing a potion, or solving a series of puzzles by collecting ingredients and adding them to a cauldron becomes a fun chore to do. But much like Total Recall you have to work out if this is all just a dream or you really have been turned into a witch.
There is a large element of find ‘n’ seek style of gaming here. Getting all the ingredients for the potion requires some logical thinking. While the game is a little short we’re sure there will be lots added in the future. But for now the lesson is not to drink too much wine on Halloween night!
