Description: Other Worlds is a deeply immersive VR experience that allows players to experience the awe and beauty of being inside a painting. Other Worlds showcases three unique worlds all from the mind of artist Justin Cherry. Each environment provides its own beautiful, dark, and foreboding experience showcasing the full potential of Gear VR through 360 degree panoramic views and industry-leading three-dimensional sound. Take in and explore the environment long enough and the player may see one of many random events tailored to the world they’re currently in. Meditate, listen to music or audiobooks while sitting in your own corner of the universe.

Review: Other Worlds is a trip to some of the strangest, often darkest looking ‘worlds’ you will ever see and I might be wrong, but there are some religious undertones to it with one world being heaven and the other hell (and something that I can only guess is birth). With 3 worlds to choose from they do feature some pretty impressive 3D visuals to take you away from it all and become immersed even if it is only for a few moments. These early days of VR are all about experimentation and this app is just that, some weird art experience that can be strangely immersive. But it won’t be for everyone and if you don’t like religious art, you might want to avoid it.
