Z3 GPS Goggle (2014)

Description: The Z3 GPS Goggle from Zeal Optics is a stylish and virtually indestructible pair of goggles designed for outdoor adventures and sports such as skiing. The HD lens technology and anti-fogging process combine to provide perfect clarity and a sweeping view while you’re screaming down the slopes. You get 100 percent UV protection, and the frame is built to be impact resistant. In other words, you may break a bone or chip a tooth in a skiing accident, but your Z3 GPS goggle will not sustain any damage. The best part, of course, is that it’s integrated with the Recon MOD GPS system. The view-finder displays your stats live while you’re tumbling down, so you can’t say afterwards that you didn’t know what was happening.

Z3 GPS Goggle (2014)

HEADSET Review: It has to be said the ‘Z3 GPS Goggle’ do look awesome, but that’s about as far as the good news goes. The HMD is supposed to track various things like your speed, height, run count as well as useful GPS information and an on-the-spot temperature gauge so you can better determine how the snow might react. But it comes with no manual and not even Zeal optics themselves seem to know anything about it! There is no manual to download, the compatibility with your smartphone is limited and it doesn’t seem to record (or show) much of anything. At $899 you are certainly going to feel disappointed here, especially when there are better AR ski goggles on the market.
