Review: There is a simple reason why Altspace raised $2.5 Million From Google Ventures and that is the social element. It is also the reason why Facebook invested in VR! Social media will be a big part of virtual reality and Altspace VR is a pretty good start. With several scenes to choose from you can play games watch videos and do all sorts of sharing and caring things.
You can also enter this universe on the PC, but whether or not the Gear VR social chat and the PC version mix we don’t know. But it looks amazing and flows a lot faster than the PC version. With waterfalls and location globes to look at there are lots of things to keep people amused. Not the perfect VR chat experience, but a pretty good one!
