Description: Alvo is an online VR Tactical Shooter with cross-platform support. The game will feature three game modes: Search and Destroy, which is a 5 v 5 round based game mode, where one side attempts to plant the bomb and the other team must defend the sites and/or defuse the bomb. Free 4 All: Every player for themselves, no teams, no mercy & Domination: This is a game mode based on capturing control spots all over the map, and holding them. The team with the most amount of points at the time limit will win.

Review: ‘Alvo’ is a pretty generic online only army shooter with a few different game modes to mix things up a bit. There is Free-for-All which is self-explanatory as well as Team Deathmatch and Search and Destroy. Gameplay-wise it is as you would expect, with a good range of guns, however, I did struggle to get the guns to reload, but I soon managed to get the hang of things. Sadly things are not so good when it comes to the graphics because they really are pretty basic and not like other Quest shooters that are out there and despite what the Oculus Fan-boys say, this game is NOT as good as COD, even the very first games.

With so many bugs and issues this game definitely needs some work, but even as it is the game is more than playable and there are enough players online to justify the current asking price. But you might want to consider holding off pulling the trigger on this for a little while, or at least until it has had a few updates. It’s not a terrible game and with some work it could be even better, but do be aware that there are far better VR team shooters out there.
