Description: Audio Arena is a single-player arena game in which the gameplay is generated by music. The arena stretches 360 degrees around you and the enemies get spawned on the beat of the music. Dodge your enemies using Gaze or Motion controls. Powerups are placed in the arena to kill your foes. Picking them up on the beat of the music increases your sync bonus for higher scores. At the end of the song, your score will be recorded, if you can make it that far.

Review: By telling you what you have to do in this game it will sound simple. Avoid enemies while flying into bombs to destroy them. Well, that is the basic idea anyway. With no controller needed you to move your head and the ship will follow your slight line. To be fair, this method of gameplay works really well and the ship is fast and responsive, leaving you able to escape through fleets of enemies with pinpoint precision.

Doing what you need to do can be hard enough. but having to do it all in time with the beat of the music is a nightmare! You soon find your eyes, mind and head movements working in time with the music and you won’t even realise it is happening. With 20 songs that are all pretty much dance in style, this is a game that you can have fun playing as well as listening to (provided you like the style of music it offers you). Personally, I would wait for a sale, but it is a good game and well worth getting if you can get it for the right price.
