Benjamin’s Adventures VR (Google Daydream)
Intro: Difficult challenge, music rhythm, and casual puzzle combined into one VR game. It’s very different from ordinary music game, we don’t emphasize music playing, players need to control a cute and little guy and sway to the rhythm of the music on a long road, jump over obstacles, pass the level.
Verdict: On the Oculus Rift Benjamin’s Adventures VR was a ridiculously hard gallery game that sees you banging drums to control your character Benjamin across gaps and jumps. The only difference with the Daydream version of the game is the drums are gone! While I really want to enjoy this game no matter how hard I try I find it far too frustrating. If maybe you had lives that give you a chance or easier levels and more levels this game would be a lot better, but at its current asking price it simply doesn’t offer good value for money. If you like a challenge and don’t mind paying over the odds there is a lot of fun to be found in the game, but you need to look long and hard, trying, again and again, to do each level until you are sick to the back teeth of it.
