Description: Black Hat Cooperative is an award-winning stealth game that pits you and an ally against robot agents that seek to remove you from the system. Explore complex levels filled with hidden dangers and work together to survive.

Play with your friends on one computer. Choose Hammer and sneak past agents, collecting treasure, keys, and passwords along the way. Or choose Spice to get the bird’s eye view and guide your partner to treasure and safety. Information in the world and on the map must be pieced together to beat the levels. At this point there’s no support for online play.

Review: Have you seen the 1999 film The Matrix? If you have you might remember a scene in that movie where Neo is being guided by Morpheus via a mobile phone. He tells him when to run when to stop and even seems to know where the agents are. Well, this game is based on a very similar scenario. Needing two players, one will guide the player and the player must try and get from point A – B. So basically one player can see a map, the other can’t.

This is one of those games that needs to be played with no less than 2 people. But if you work well together this game can be a real laugh. But with basic graphics and repetitive gameplay, some might think it gets a little boring, but that is simply not the case. The more you play, the harder this game gets (and the deeper down the rabbit hole you go) and when it gets harder it gets better, you will soon be fearing for your life (if you are the one in VR anyway).

While the graphics are a little basic looking, the random gameplay can easily put you deep into immersion and you will find yourself being very scared, especially when your partner is telling you there are hoards of robots just around the corner and you can hear them. I was sceptical about this game at the start, but by the end, I was really enjoying it. If you love co-op party games, this game will keep the party going.
