Description: This is the game you have been waiting your whole sick life for. Experience what has been called “the most realistic gore system ever” in Raid, Sandbox and Arcade combat modes. Take on the role of a heartless killer for hire and see why Blood Trail has come to be known as “the most violent game in VR”. You are Wendigo. A hard-hearted contract killer motivated only by a paycheck. With a trusted arsenal at the ready, you are tasked with annihilating a fanatical cult.

Built from the ground up for VR using proprietary character physics and gore systems, Blood Trail offers an unprecedented shooting experience that is not for the faint of heart. With realistic gun mechanics and damage effects, you will have no margin for error as you use your pistol, shotgun, rifle and fists to become the last man standing in this nightmarish and brutal scenario. Did we mention that this game features the world’s first virtual crack pipe?

Review: It has to be said ‘Blood Trail’ is a lot like Boneworks with its Rag Doll style bodies. At its heart, this is an action game/wave shooter in which you will be using a small variety of guns to kill what appears to be vampires. While it is mostly just waves of enemies you can always spawn them into the game yourself during the tutorial stages. With only 3 stages and no real story mode to talk about you really don’t get a lot of content for the very high £19.49 current asking price, but if you can grab this for less than a quarter of that in a sale you should find yourself enjoying all the core and mindless violence. Sadly this is one of those games you really need to make your own fun with, pretty much as Boneworks does.
