Review: Sadly for me, I am a terrible poker player because I can’t help but get excited whenever I have a willing hand, a poker face is something that has escaped me. So imagine my joy at finding out there was a VR poker game. You play online and can pick various game styles and tables. Want to play with lots of people, choose a busier table! Then it is a simple matter of learning as you go along.

With pretty good graphics and a real sense of being in a casino (mostly because you can look over and see other people playing on other tables) this really is like visiting a virtual casino! What I found most surprising about this game is how even with the mic off it is still easy to pick up on a VR characters emotions. Which is terrible news for me as the other players seemed to know whenever I had a good hand even in VR. Looking back, maybe I shouldn’t have jumped up and down in the real world.

Whether it be through VR or just through your smartphone, apps like this are the future of online gambling. It’s sociable, easy to follow along and set your own limits plus more importantly it give people a chance to win if like myself they have a terrible poker face. Just remember to turn off the mic if you want to talk out loud about your gameplan.
