Description: Protect planet Earth in this exciting retro-futuristic puzzle game that will test your alertness, quick thinking and multi-tasking skills. Test your cunning! In this game, you’ll join the ranks of the Special Defense Force and control the Cygnus Alpha Defense base through 5 interconnected consoles simultaneously, each one with its own controlling scheme and effects on the system as a whole.
Review: In video and pictures, Cygnus Defense Alpha might look far too basic and rudimentary to be any good. But that assumption couldn’t be any further from the truth. Sure, it takes a fair old while to get into this game and indeed you will be playing 20-30 mins before you get used to it. But get through this and get into your very first mission and you’ll be loving it. For a 3 DOF (Degrees of Freedom) game its surprisingly physical and really gets the heart going. Sure, it could be played sat in a chair, but you best make sure it has a lightning fast swivel on it, meaning it really is best play standing. Its basic looks hide its chaotic, physical gameplay that is crazy amounts of fun. If you are willing to knuckle down and learn the tutorial this game is its own reward. Truly a made for VR only game that could only have been made by someone who deeply loves VR.
