Review: Horror games and Virtual reality go together like copy and paste. While they are separate things the two work well together and you get the feeling they were made for each other. Playing Dreadhalls is one of the scariest things you will do in VR. The sounds, the immersion, the graphics, they all work together to make this otherwise simple game a masterpiece of horror entertainment.

The idea of the game is to bring together 4 eyeballs (yes, human eyes pulled out of their owner’s sockets) and escape whatever hell-hole you are in. Of course, things are never that simple and there are some truly terrifying things in the halls and corridors with you. It’s pretty much always dark and when it isn’t it’s designed to lure you into a false sense of safety. You soon find yourself desperately seeking oil for your lamp to keep that light going for a few moments longer. While some will argue that it isn’t worth the full asking price I think it is, but as always that is little more than my own personal opinion.
