Description: Play as a lunarnaut/repair-person, tasked with fulfilling the ridiculous demands of President of the World, Doug-Slater Roccmeier, to build his massively unstable elevator. You know, to the moon. It’s in the game title. Obey his increasingly goofy orders to the letter, disobey and cause hilarious havoc, or find your own sweet spot. Each way of playing has its own advantages and outcomes. It’s up to you, intrepid elevator person, to blaze your own altitudinal path…to the moon!
Review: Elevator… to the Moon! is a puzzle adventure game that is a nod towards classic retro sci-fi films (it even features a voice that sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger!) The basic gist of the story is you are building and then using an elevator to go to the mood. Sadly for you, this crazy plan is falling apart and you will have to repair the elevator on the fly. But is all the problems caused by one man?!? Keeping it spoiler-free this is a great looking game that features some genius-level puzzles, so it’s a good job the “hint” system is around to help when you simply can’t work it out. The game works well, isn’t too frustrating and features enough humour and plot twists to keep itself interesting and entertaining from start to finish. Well worth a download and it comes at a great price given the quality and amount of voice work.
