Review: ‘Escape From Mandrillia’ sees one person in VR trying to escape an underground facility and up to 2 players using the PC play the roles of giant alien monkeys trying to stop them. Of course, you get some weapons and there are various tricks and tactics to learn. While there isn’t a whole lot of verity in the environment it does mean you soon lean all the best places to hide, ambush and take cover from.

Much like any game of the same genre, the value of this game all depends on how much fun you have with the multiplayer side of things. Play with the right people and you will have a laugh, but there is no single-player mode here and the multiplayer is local gameplay only. I had a good laugh playing this and I do give it the thumbs up, but for £10.99 you have to get every pennies worth to make it worth the download.
