Description: Escape the Bunker is a room escape game, similar to the popular real-life escape games. It features half a dozen different interconnected rooms, with various puzzles to solve and a small bit of suspense towards the end. There are no “jump scares”, and nobody is trying to kill you. It’s a problem-solving game, in which you use your reasoning skills to find ways of opening doors, unlocking locks and using a variety of items to move forwards through the game and eventually Escape the Bunker. Play times vary from 40 minutes to just over an hour, depending on how familiar you are with this genre of game.

Review: With so many puzzle room style games for our VR headsets, it is hard to stand out from the crowd. Sadly Escape the Bunker doesn’t do that, instead, it just looks basic and tired, as if it is unfinished which given how long ago the last update was I think we can all presume it is. Also, the movement system is a little nauseating which is really unnecessary. While some of the puzzles were interesting none of them grabs your attention for very long and none of them keeps you immersed in the game. The whole game just feels very lacklustre and there are better things to spend your money on. Maybe if it goes down to a quid or less it will be worth a look, but otherwise, I would leave it alone.
