Description: Marimba VR is a great way for percussionists to practice their instrument at home as well as a fun game in which to relax and play some music. It takes advantage of something amazing about virtual reality – being able to practice something in-game and having that skill translate to the real world.

Review: I just want to start this review by saying that I am no Marimba expert (The marimba is a percussion instrument consisting of a set of wooden bars struck with yarn or rubber mallets to produce musical tones.) But I do know what one is and how it makes its tones. Moving forward, now I have to say Marimba VR isn’t a great simulation of a Marimba because I know it creates different tones and length of tones the harder or softer the wooden bars are struck. Sadly what we have here is a bare-bones simulation of a Marimba that really should have been free. But I am also willing to bet someone will find a use for this. But with no game, no tutorial to teach you how to use it I can only tell you not to bother unless it is something you already know you could use.
