Description: Jupiter & Mars is an underwater adventure set in a future-Earth in which everything science warned us about has come to pass: sea levels have risen from melting ice caps and climate change. As a result, the coastal cities are all but completely submerged. Since man’s disappearance, the oceans have begun to reclaim themselves, with coral and nearly extinct creatures returning to their once-thriving levels. But the artifacts of man’s presence still remain, and an elite race of whales known as the Elders enlist Jupiter and Mars to help neutralize a global network of machines that are disrupting sea life. Along the way, Jupiter and Mars will perform incredible feats and maybe even survive to tell the tale.
Review: Jupiter & Mars is a weird bag of things that is for sure. Its some sort of educational environmental campaign, some sort of 360 interactive video and some sort of adventure all rolled into one. But yet, after a few hours gameplay I started to realise it is little more than a hidden object game! But worse of all is that this is such a better game both in looks and gameplay when played on a 2D screen rather than VR. The drop in graphical quality is almost unforgivable! So do I recommend this game? I have to be honest and tell you that I am still not sure! But I say do wait for a good sale before trying it, but to be prepared to play something…unusual.
