Description: Kumoon is Finnish for knocking over boxes by ricocheting your projectiles around the rooms. Mixing a shooting-gallery with billiards, platforming and puzzle-solving. Welcome to Kumoon. Besides taking potshots at boxes, there’s a fair smattering of platforming and wall-climbing. An aggressive default movement speed enables you to make leaps over large gaps. So for those with sturdy VR legs, you can play as wildly as you wish. More sensitive players are given a half-speed option to take things a bit slower and using the analogue sticks gently allow you to go as slow as you like. There are some surprise drops, deep pits, that sort of thing to get a feeling of vertigo. The levels are all unlocked by default, so players with low tolerance for freedom of movement can pick and choose which levels to play.

Review: Normally I like to compare the game I am reviewing to another one people might have played before. But there is nothing like Kumoon: Ballistic Physics Puzzle, nothing I have ever played before anyway. While at first it seems easy, hit the boxes, rebound the ball and hit the boxes, it soon gets a lot more puzzling, some of them are indeed very difficult. But mostly this game is fun. Even if you can’t do the missions you are currently on, you can just play around with it until you work it out. Rebound balls all over the place and trying to get cubes on top of other things is all part of the made-up challenges you can make.

The game physics are spot on, the graphics are a little basic, but finally polished and the sounds are more than adequate. Until you play Kumoon: Ballistic Physics Puzzle for yourself you will never be able to understand just how much fun bouncing a ball off the wall can be until you play this game
