Review: If I had to sum up what type of game ‘Polygon Hunter VR’ is I would call it Duke Nukem Vs Asteroids in a Maths classroom. It’s a crazy shooter in which you have to keep shooting various shapes being shot out of a cannon to make them smaller and smaller until they are destroyed. It’s as crazy as it sounds and while the game was clearly not made for VR it does work apart from the nauseating cut scenes. I think the words “cheap and cheerful” are best used here because you get a fun, crazy, weird game that you can easily find yourself enjoying with enough content and unlockables to justify the asking price, but at the end of the day, it is little more than a cheap indie mindless wave shooter with a small price attached. I enjoyed it, but I could see many others not feeling too happy with it.
