Description: RealmCraft is a sandbox construction game with 3D procedurally generated world. Create and break apart various kinds of blocks, explore the environment, gather resources, craft weapons, build shelter and take part in combat with dangerous opponents.

The game offers two modes – Survival and Creative. In Survival players have to collect resources, construct buildings, fight against enemies, manage hunger and explore the word to survive and prosper. In Creative mode you focus on breaking new grounds of creation by building the most elaborate structures you can dream of. Realmcraft is a game for adults and kids, it will entertain you for a long time and earn an unforgettable experience.

Review: RealmCraft has been on the Google Play store for a while now and has received much praise indeed. But can it really do well on the Oculus Rift when we are lucky enough to have full access to Minecraft in VR anyway? Starting off it looks pretty much the same as Minecraft. From the ‘Survival’ or ‘Creative modes’ to the style and look of the menus and game.

Using the gamepad it does take a while to find out what the controls do, but once discovered I was building and mining all over the place with ease. Maybe it’s because I am not a Minecraft fan, but personal I couldn’t tell the difference between this and the full version of Minecraft! Maybe I was looking for the wrong things, but it seemed pretty much the same to me, but the good news is that did enable me to get used to it much quicker than I thought I would.

I wouldn’t say I was the biggest Minecraft fan anyway, so a cheaper clone of it was never going to float my boat. The survival mode sucks, the lack of Touch controller interface is a crying shame and there isn’t anywhere near the gameplay and options depth of the original Minecraft. But yet, I do have to take the price you pay for this game into consideration and looking at it that way this game does offer great value for money. But I will suggest you save up enough and get the full version with touch support as it’s a much, much better experience.
