Smash Hit

Description: Take a surreal journey through an otherworldly dimension, move in harmony with sound and music… and smash everything in your path! This experience requires focus, concentration, and timing to not only travel as far as you can, but also break the beautiful glass objects that stand in your way.

Review: Those of us old enough to expect Smash Hit to be a VR pop singing contest are going to be a little disappointed. This game is very much like the virtual reality version of Arkanoid (only moving along). With metal balls and loads of nice things to smash this is a game that can be a lot of fun as well as good for getting some frustration out!

It is one good looking and good sounding game. The noise of a big piece of glass breaking is very satisfying and while I did find the learning curve a little steep it was an awful lot of fun to play. One day in the no-so-distant future someone will blame this game for their child wanting to smash someone’s window. But for now, it’s a carefree game that does require a little bit of good aim and strategy. Sadly I have neither of those things.
