Review: SteamHammerVR – The Rogue Apprentice is a pretty good attempt at a Steampunk style shooter with adventure elements and all set in Victorian London and to be fair to the developers it does look pretty well polished. But sadly the shooting action is where this game lets itself down and the shooting action is 95% of what the game is making it quite a boring game to play. The weapons don’t feel powerful enough and the enemies (although looking good) are kind of boring, like the mechanical rats which are just lame as dead ducks. I will even go so far as to say this game is long enough to offer its own value for money, but whether you will play long enough to experience that value for money is another thing as the monotony of it all would have set it long before then.
