Review: Stern Pinball Arcade isn’t for people who just enjoy a game of pinball now and again, it is for people who love pinball and the history of the tables. Over the years some of the Stern tables have become real collector’s items and there is indeed a great collection of virtual tables to see and play here, but sadly they are a little expensive meaning to buy them all will set you back £40 ($50).

While each table looks great and the included history and flyers of each table is more than welcome the cost of them is just not justifiable in my eyes. £1 or £2 a table would have been much better. But if you do love your pinball and indeed all the classic Stern tables that you probably once played in arcades all over the world you might find something to feel nostalgic about here, but for most of us the free Frankenstein one is good enough.
