Description: Create your own original games, import custom assets, automate games with scripting, set up complete RPG dungeons, manipulate the physics, create hinges & joints, and of course flip the table when you are losing the game. All with an easy to use system integrated with Steam Workshop. You can do anything you want in Tabletop Simulator. The possibilities are endless!

Tabletop Simulator has it all. The base game includes 15 classics like Chess, Poker, Jigsaw Puzzles, Dominoes, and Mahjong. Additionally, there are thousands of community-created content on the Workshop. If you’re the tabletop gaming type, we include an RPG Kit which has tilesets & furniture, as well as animated figurines that you can set up and battle with your friends, with even more options in the Chest. There’s even an option for Game Masters so they can control the table

Review: Describing what Tabletop Simulator is like explaining what fun is. It’s hard to explain what it is, but you know it’s enjoyable. Trying to sum this app up it is an online physics sandbox that let you play several board games / tabletop games in VR while also not being restricted to the limitations of the games themselves. What to play a special version of chess that only you are a friend play? With this app, you can do just that and also make your own animated D&D setups! Choosing from one of the 15 classic games you can then play online with a friend even if they don’t have a VR headset, they can just use their 2D screen.

I will tell you that it did take me a few days to learn how to build some of the D&D designs, but once I got into it I was manipulating the objects with ease. While it will seem confusing for a lot of people, if you have a flair for designing D&D tables or want to make your own board game, give it time and learn, it will come to you in the end. Even if you just love playing the board games you will find versions (none that are official) of them within this app and its online community of very talented builders. My advice is to try and make you own, you might enjoy it more than you would think.

To be honest with you this really is more of a development tool than a game. With more functions and possibilities that anything you would have ever experienced before, there are almost infinite uses for this app. It’s just nice to use this app and create in sandbox mode, but the online multiplay options really are the icing on the cake. OK, so most people will only get it for the D&D build, but even if you get tired of that there is still endless gameplay with the rest of it. A truly unique idea that has been lovingly executed to perfection.
