Description: In this first-person VR-Horror game, you wake up in the middle of an empty circus arena, with a syringe in your arm and the feeling of being watched. Solve puzzles and discover clues to unveil the tragic backstory and find your way out.

Review: ‘The Moonlight Circus’ is a short (just under an hour for me) horror escape game in which you have to work out why you wake up with a needle sticking out of your hand and where you are. There are some mild jump-scares and a few creepy moments, but nothing too much here in way of gore. For a freebie, it’s not bad at all! There is some good voice acting, the graphics are nice and atmospheric (without being too dark to see anything) and the story is pretty immersive. What I didn’t like was the ‘swinging your arms to walk’ movement. VR has come a long way since the days this was a movement option. I also had difficulty grabbing things from the floor, but there is a height adjustment for those of us in wheelchairs or playing sitting down. I would love to see what this developer could do with a full game, but for now, I feel this was well worth the download.
