Review: Have you ever wanted to visit a real Jurassic park? The Time Machine VR might well be the closest thing you will ever get to seeing a real dinosaur. When I say real, believe me when I tell you that some of the underwater creatures look very real indeed. Even your time pod/ship looks impressive! But it is the freedom to move your own ship and play at your own pace that really makes this game stand out from the rest. You can spend hours just swimming with turtles (until they get eaten) or slashing around with giant prehistoric fish. You do get set back on track if you wander off a little too much, but apart from that, you do feel free to explore and examine your surroundings.

What I really hate is a lot of people moan about how short this game is, but this is not a full-priced game by any pricing standards and what “little” you do get looks amazing. If you want to see this game made longer, buy it now and download it and support the makers because they can’t make more apps and experiences of this quality without our support.

With this game, you get the gameplay length you pay for (which is not a lot) but the bit you get looks amazing, truly immersive and will leave you feeling as if you really have gone back in time. The sounds and graphics look amazing and the gameplay pace might be a little slow, but that that just seems to make it feel even more realistic. It also has to be said that this app would be perfect for school children because of its educational element but be warned, things do get rather…messy when it comes to feeding time.
