Review: ‘Towards a perilous journey’ describes itself as a shoot’em up and musical game, but it is little more than a basic rail shooter and nothing more. Don’t get me wrong, there is some nice music here, but it doesn’t relate to the gameplay in any way. It’s easy to pick up and I found myself blasting away for quite a while before getting bored of it. But sadly the game just feels unfinished as there are almost no sound effects which leave any action in the game feeling rather empty and pointless and the graphics are not up to much at all. But then taking the lower £1.69 price tag into account there is a fun little game to be had here, but don’t be fooled by the games spill, this is just another shooter.
