Description: VR Cricket is an easy to learn game that focuses on timing and shot selection to see how many runs you can blast in a 5 or 10 over game. Chase down a target based on the difficulty of your choice and see if you can handle the pressure!

Review: Cricket is something yet again sporty that hasn’t been seen much in VR much past a few mini-games here and there and while VR Cricket is little more than a mini-game yet again it’s not a bad one. This idea is simple, you need to bowl a set amount of runs before the number of balls or overs run out. While it looks OK, its the lack of things that look OK that make this game seem unnecessary sparse. With no bowler, no catchers and barely any crowd to speak of the game feels lonely even though you are playing cricket in a stadium full of people.

Sure, it’s a free game and you have to forgive it not looking its best or indeed being amazing to play. But yet…its still oddly enjoyable! Playing with the gamepad it does take a while to get into it, but once it does you will enjoying getting a 6 and indeed playing a score challenge with friends by passing the headset along after your turn. It’s not the VR cricket game we all want, but its a little bit of fun for cricket fans to enjoy.
