Review: VR Karts is a kart racing game done in a cartoon style very similar to Diddy Kong Racing more than Mario Kart, but that isn’t such a bad thing. There is a cross between the real and the cartoon and while everything feels good, plays good and looks amazing there is just something missing that I couldn’t quite put my finger on. Maybe I just wanted it to be like Mario Kart a little too much.

While it has to be said that it is not quite as much fun as the Mario Karts of this world the VR element does make it a great game to play. There are some good times to be had with VR Karts, from bumping into your own weapons to power sliding into a tree and a beehive falling on your head. But it just seems to move a little slow and doesn’t quite feel as much fun as it should. Still, it is a fun game and well worth downloading.
