Review: I did review Titans of Space running on the Google Cardboard system ages ago, but now it is back, bigger and better looking than ever. No matter what changes have been made, this is still one of the very best educational VR apps ever made. What you get above all else with this app is a scale of size. The sun looks amazing when you are close to it and the bigger planets like Jupiter look amazing (and those are just the smaller ones in our solar system). I could easily see a whole classroom full of kids with VR headsets on all watching this as their teacher talks over it. But at home, you tend to rush through it more, wanting to see bigger and better planets with each space jump.

Titans Of Space is and indeed was a great app and definitely worth a download for anyone just getting into star gazing or learning Astronomy. But I feel they really missed a trick with the PCVR version. All those planets with loads of moons, why not name them all, in fact, why not so some atmospheric flyovers, showing what the planet’s surface might be like. If you have any interest in space and our solar system this is well worth a look, even at its full price.
